Archibus by Eptura implementation at Vale

Vale, a leading mining company with presence in more than 20 countries, manages key operations in logistics, energy, steel and oil on a global scale. It is one of the largest logistics operators in Brazil. It is also the second largest mining company in the world, and the world’s largest producer of iron ore and second largest producer of nickel. In 2010, Vale’s Shared Services Center relied on ABTIO for its implementation of Archibus by Eptura, optimizing the following processes:

  • Preventive Maintenance Management
  • Reporting and KPIs Generation
  • Integration with Active Directory
  • Integration with HP Open View
  • Integration with Peoplesoft

The implementation of Archibus by Eptura has contributed to optimize the management of its operations, providing greater efficiency and control over its processes.
