Eptura – Archibus implementation for Services & Facilities – Metlife
MetLife is a company recognized worldwide for its protection, savings, retirement and employee benefits solutions. A market leader in corporate insurance solutions in the U.S. and individual insurance solutions in LatAm, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, it provides financial security to families, corporations and governments.
In 2005 it merged with Siembra AFJP, which is why it hired ABTIO’s services. The objective of the project was to create a Facility Management team and implement the necessary processes and technology to manage all the new assets.
In this way, it was necessary to carry out works (adaptations, rebranding…), removals, branch closures, renegotiation and termination of rental and service contracts, which implied bidding processes, including the preparation of bidding documents, selection of contractors, planning, follow-up and supervision.
Eptura – Archibus was also used for Contract Management (for leases and services) and Space Management, including the digitalization and linking of floor plans (in compliance with IFMA standards) with the corresponding record of their assignment (division/department) and use (category/type).
The implemented modules were:
- Space Management
- Extension for AutoCAD
- Service Desk
- Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
Finally, a Service Desk was implemented with Eptura – Archibus, also including the follow-up of scheduled maintenance, cleaning and vending services for the two head offices and the 55 branches located throughout the country.
