Oracle PeopleSoft Payroll 9.2 – Medifé
The medical insurance ASE Nacional (Social Action of Entrepreneurs) decided to expand its business source by proposing new health prepaid medicine plans. This is how Medifé was born a few years ago. Ranked among the leading healthcare services in Argentina, Medifé has more than 60 branches in the country to assist more than 300,000 members.
Medifé is one of the companies with the largest number of members and with the highest level of satisfaction in its industry. It is positioned as a prepaid medical service company that facilitates administrative management, costumer care and presents a broad variety of services, with different plans to fit all needs.
Medifé has its own healthcare facility, Sanatorio Finochietto. Since 2014, modern and well located in the center of the Capital City, it is considered one of the most sophisticated medical facilities in Argentina.
Due to the expansion the company is going through, their process became more complex, demanding the need for modernization and standardization. To achieve this goal, the Medifé decided to face a complete technological renovation.
Total project includes the modernization of the accounting and financial (ERP) and human resources (HCM) software. As part as this project, ABTIO was selected to carry out the implementation of payroll process.
The technological solution selected by Medifé to cover payroll process was Oracle PeopleSoft Global Payroll Argentina 9.2 which will be installed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI. This solution will replace the current payroll legacy, with a modern platform based on the cloud.
Oracle PeopleSoft Global Payroll 9.2 is a Word Class solution, which allows improving the accuracy of payroll process and financial controls. As a result of this implementation, Medifé will get a reduction of costs, short implementation times and simplicity in the processes of upgrading and maintaining the software.
ABTIO’s implementation project in Medifé will have an estimated duration of 30 weeks, during which payroll processes will be implemented.
