Upgrade PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 to 8.60 – Torneos & Competencias – T&C Sports

Torneos produces over 18,000 annual hours of programming (including Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana) for the main Latin American channels: FOX Sports, DIRECTV, TyC Sports, and The Golf Channel. In 1991, this company began its relationship with the Argentine Football Association by acquiring the TV rights for the Official Football Tournament. In 1994, together with the Clarín Group, they created TyC Sports, driving the first sports cable channel in Argentina. Nowadays, they are a leading sports marketing and production company in Latin America, its main activities include sports content production, acquisition of audiovisual rights, and organization of sports events.

As part of its modernization strategy, in 2017, Torneos chose Oracle PeopleSoft Global Payroll 9.2 solution for human resources processes management and payroll administration (Argentine localization), which was implemented on Oracle’s cloud infrastructure (OCI). During the month of July and august 2023, ABTIO’s technology team executed the update of the technology platform on which Oracle PeopleSoft is deployed, upgrading from PeopleTools 8.56 in HCM 9.2 to PeopleTools 8.60.06 HCM 9.2. Which brings improvements in the following development tools:
